Appellation: Loupiac
Grapes Varieties: Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc
The Cuvée de la Poésie Loupiac from Domaine Cornelien is a sweet wine from the Bordeaux region, created from overripe grapes affected by the "noble mold" varieties of Sauvignon Blanc and Semillon, which are grown in the Loupillac appellation.
The grapes are harvested exclusively by hand in several stages, due to the uneven ripening of fruits affected by Botrytis. Separating is not necessary, the grapes are crushed, and the must is fermented in wooden barriques for 3-8 weeks. The wine is aged in wooden barrels to complicate its character.
Tasting: Beautiful golden straw. Refreshing, rich, sweet, harmonious, with hints of flowers and honey, with a long pleasant aftertaste. The elegant bouquet showcases a complex palette of aromas with notes of candied apricot and quince against a backdrop of delicious floral notes.
