Chateau Dorleac is a small Chateau in the village of Sainte Croix de Mont, and is park of the larger Entre Deux Mers sub region. A jewel of the Bordeaux vineyards, the village of Sainte Croix du Mont is located on a rocky outcrop which houses a bench of fossilized oysters. The church and castle of Tastes proudly dominate the valley of the Garonne facing Sauternes and the famous Chateau Yquem.
Tasting: The wine shows a medium golden yellow color and a pleasant oily texture. An intensely fruity aroma rises in the nose with tones of quince, apricot and honey. Sweet in taste, the lively acidity balances the full-bodied wine. Long and complex in the finish, it is perfect as an aperitif or dessert wine at an optimal serving temperature of 10 - 12 ° C and can be combined excellently with mature cheese.
