Appellation: Chateauneuf-du Pape
Grape Varieties: 100% Grenache
Serge Mouriesse has a simple philosophy: "The wine must be the reflection of the most faithful of its terroir, in its most noble expressions".
The wines are grown in Reasoned Agriculture with natural organic amendments, without chemical weed control, insecticides or synthetic fungicides. Regular plowing gives good aeration and thus promotes the microbiological life of the soil. Majority of old and very old vines.
The "Tour d'Ambre" is a 100% Grenache vintage made from old vines located in the same locality as the "Valori" appellation.
The wine expresses the purity of the fruit, an aromatic complexity all in finesse, the warm character and depth of this unique terroir. A Grand Châteauneuf-du-Pape.

89 point by Robert Parker
“If you're more tolerant than I when it comes to alcoholic warmth, you'll probably adore the 2015 Chateauneuf du Pape Tour d'Ambre. It's a concentrated, richly tannic, pure-Grenache bottling from sandy soils that boasts plenty of spice, dark fruit and a hint of minty freshness, held back only by a touch of heat on the finish.” Drink Date: 2017-2025
