Appellation: Graves
Grapes Varieties: 50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 40% Merlot, 10% Cabernet Franc
For the production of red wines, the vineyard is made up of 5 hectares of vines from Graves to Saint-Pierre de Mons, mainly planted with Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon, the blend of which gives a nice, fruity, suppleness and longevity to the wine. Sometimes a little Cabernet Franc is added for its aromas of raspberry or violet, depending on the vintage.
The Maypé-Lagrave, which takes its name from the old name of the place where the vines come from, is a selection that aims to obtain balanced, supple, very fruity wines, while maintaining the qualities from the Bordeaux region.
Tasting: Intense ruby red colour; a very aromatic nose on ripe red fruits and chocolate. On the palate, a fruity wine, a light structure with very supple tannins.
